Wow!

We just have one big thing to say to those of you who came out on Friday night --

THANK YOU!

Friday night's show was a huge success (not counting the soundsystem problems)
-- the management at Goose Island was thrilled with how many people turned out,
and want us to come back and play there again As Soon As Possible! And we really
owe that to all of you who came out and cheered us on, and brought friends, and
stuck around even though the sound system freaked out and just sat there doing
nothing.

So from all of us to all of you, thank you for a big success; and thank you for
helping us move forward as a band. This show was really important for us to make
some momentum, especially with Goose Island -- and was really critical in
getting asked to come play again.

We're hoping to play another show at the Wrigleyville Goose Island in late
October or early November -- so please think of us, and as soon as we have it
scheduled we'll let you know. I'll do my best to get them to keep the show free.

IN OTHER NEWS...

In other news, Aaron Moon has decided to stay out east this year, and is doing a
year of service with Americorps, doing environmental education in Massachusetts.
We are totally going to miss Aaron, but we also really support his decision.
Think of him and/or remember him in your prayers as he does his thing out in the
Eastern Woods.

Relatedly, redvinegar has secured a new drummer -- North Park's own Erik P.
Anderson. Erik is heading up north for the next month and a half, and is taking
a drum set with him to wear all the old rust off. So when you come see us in
Oct/November -- you'll get to see us rocking out with the percussive stylings of
Easy-E Anderson. We're really excited -- Erik is a great guy and a great
friend, and it's going to be fun playing music with him in the next year.

Finally, we will try to play at least one show before Erik gets back at the
regular Thursday night music showcases at the North/Clybourn Goose Island,
hopefully when Smittyvision is also playing (so that Paul Mulchrone can sit in
on drums). We'll be sure to get the word out when we're playing next.

Thanks again for all your support and for caring enough to listen.

Yours,
Peter and the rest of redvinegar.
