10-4, good buddy! That's October 4th, to you.

redvinegar is playing a show at Goose Island Wrigleyville, 3535 N.
Clark St. in Chicago just a few doors south of Wrigley Field in
Wrigleyville this Saturday, Octobet 4th at 10:00 PM. It's 21 and over,
and the cover is $5. We would like nothing more than to see your
smiling faces.

We'll be kicking out music with all of you hopefully celebrating the
victory of the Chicago Cubs! Goose Island is a fun, friendly, and very
"Chicago" place with lots of good food and drinks, lots of friends and
a great atmosphere. We love playing there, and it seems like everyone
else has a good time, too.

Just as a heads up, some minor details may change due to the as-yet
unscheduled playoff series. Namely, if there is a night game playoff,
it's *possible* that they will push back the show a little bit. This
happens every once in a while anyway, and I can forgive the Cubs for
the inconvenience. The other possible change is that if things are
crazy in Wrigleyville that night they may take off the cover
completely and open the back room for all patrons. How cool would that
be? Either way, you're probably going to want to come down to
Wrigleyville a little earlier than usual on Saturday night... it could
be a big crowd! As soon as we find out what's going to happen, we'll
post it here. Please don't let the uncertainty change your plans! Come
see us rock out in the shadow of Wrigley Field.

In other news, we've added new downloadable music to the website!

...for some great live tunes and clips. New photos are coming soon.

We also have a show coming up on October 29th at the Beat Kitchen.
Mark your calendars!

Wow! redvinegar has *actually booked recording dates* for this coming
January in chilly Duluth, MN at the Sacred Heart Recording Studio --
look for the first true redvinegar album some time in the spring of
2004!

Also, we have T-shirts for sale in 3 colors. They'll be available
at the show for $10. Proceeds go directly toward our recording fund.

Finally, I've said this before, but I'll say it again -- if you're
interested in helping us out, the two greatest things you can do is
come see us play, and bring people who've never heard us before. If
you have ideas about places we could play, please don't hesitate to
talk to one of us -- we're looking for new people and new venues and
it's great to have other people out there on the lookout. Oh yeah, and
if your uncle owns a record company, feel free to give him my
card. :)

Thanks again for all your support and friendship,

Yours,
Peter and the rest of redvinegar
