A lot of people have compared the pocket linux guide to LFS.
Personally I think pocket linux is more about the design process than
the final product. Like saying that "life is a journey, not a
destination," I hope the pocket linux guide is a journey as well and
that people building it will gain some design skills that can be applied
to other projects.
And if people still think the pocket linux guide is like LFS that's
okay. Toyota makes cars that are very similar to the ones that Honda
makes, but people still find reasons to choose one over the other.
Choices are good.
